Sad Girl Creamery is the brainchild of Sue Mancini and she makes fabulously good small batch ice cream. Some of the best in Los Angeles. She also serves up the ice cream with a side of mental health awareness.
This is the pop up that she is doing tonight at Flora de Luna Apothecary in Boyle Heights from 5 pm to 9 pm or sell out. She almost always sells out before the time is up.
Here’s the pop up menu:
Mango Creamsicle
Honeydew & Canteloupe Sherbet
Watermelon Hibiscus Sorbet
And Spicy Chocolate Rocky Road which is exclusive to the pop up.
Mancini is donating 10% of the profits from the Fruit Cart Series ice creams to “ @inclusivaction and their Street Vendor Emergency Fund. I’ll have these flavors for sale starting this weekend at @lokels.only and at my pop up at @flordeluna.apothecary The flavors will continue to be available throughout August. “
It’s hot and we all love ice cream. There’s even a vegan flavor. Don’t miss out and remember you can only get the Spicy Chocolate Rocky Road at tonight’s pop up.
